Today was our last day at Yellowstone National Park. We had such an exciting drive from Old Faithful Lodge along Yellowstone Lake to the East Entrance. Just as the sun came up we saw this female elk. It’s amazing that these wild animals come right along the side of the road and don’t dart away when cars drive by.
As the sun started to rise we were simply in awe of the beauty around every turn.
Notice the hot spring in the shot below.
Here at this hot geyser along the lake front I saw a moose. These animals are so fast to be so very large so I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo of him.
Then we saw this bull elk with a full rack.
I wish we had more time to visit Yellowstone. It’s a beautiful park and a national treasure everyone should see in their lifetime.
